International Day of Peace Gr.5-12

International Day of Peace or “Peace Day” is recognized around the world on September 21st. It is dedicated to and observed as a reminder for all humanity to commit to a culture of Peace both within and above all nations and peoples. It is a day we can hopefully come together and imagine a world absent of war and violence, replaced instead with joy, peace, tolerance, health and community. In celebration of International Day of Peace, ISAS students marked the event by expressing themselves through writing and creating posters which proudly hang on our walls as symbol of a peaceful future they are committed to building.
