Select students from grades 10-12 applied to the DEWA Conservation Award competition which aims to motivate high school and college students to develop practical and innovative models designed to increase the efficiency of electricity and water consumption. The five projects proposed by our students were all selected out of the many projects submitted by other schools in Dubai. Our students were then invited to attend two workshops at Zaabeel Park on January 15th and February 4th, during which professional trainers taught our students how to use Arduino software and 2D and 3D modeling to present their work. The last phase of the competition will take place on March 15, when our students will submit their final prototypes and documentation to the judges. We wish them the best of luck and are proud of them for making it this far. Good Luck!
